· Time Distribution System (TDS): TDS system is used to display the time over slave clocks installed at stations, OCC, BCC and depot getting the time signal from the master clock located at OCC & BCC. TDS shall interface with all other Telecom systems and external systems to provide accurate and stable reference time source for the complete Indore Metro Project.
· Passenger Information Display System (PIDS): The PIDS is used to display the time of day and other appropriate pre- determined, fixed, pre-formatted messages and free-entry text messages regarding normal train operation, safety, train delays and emergencies, etc. PIDS shall interface with the Signalling System to provide automatic public display information of real time train running information.
· Public Address System (PAS): PAS and PIDS are integrated system controlled and monitored from common HMI/ workstation. The PAS is used to broadcast the voice messages to passengers & staffs in all stations and to staff in the depot, OCC and BCC. PAS shall interface with the Signalling System to provide automatic public announcements of real time train running information and also, live announcement, pre-recorded announcement including emergency messages.
· Telephone System: Telephone system is used for internal communication between Indore staff within OCC, BCC, Depot and Stations. Telephone shall be used external communication also using PSTN connectivity. This will be IP based solution and will interface with CCTV, TETRA Radio and PAS systems. It will interface with Voice Recording System (VRS) for all calls recording. Hotline Telephone shall also be used to call the emergency services “one to one pick and dial call” i.e. speed dialling. Hotline Telephone connections will be provided for MP Police, Indore Fire Brigade and Disaster Management Bhopal Municipal Corporation.
· Emergency Help Point System (EHPS): Emergency Help Point System is IP based solution for passengers and staff to seek assistance during abnormal conditions at Elevated, Underground Station and tunnel sections.
· Voice Recording System (VRS): VRS is IP based recording system used to record specific conversations from Telephony, EHPS, PAS and TETRA Radio system. VRS will be also provided for free space recording at SCR, OCC, BCC & DCC.
· Access Control and Intrusion Detection System (ACIDS): ACIDS shall be used for secured access to all identified important rooms and detect intrusion in the Metro Premises. This will be interfaced with CCTV for automatic pop-up of camera view at CCTV HMI in case of access breach or intrusion.
· Video Transmission System (VTS): VTS is used to provide wireless continuous and seamless video transmission network with connectivity between on-board train cameras and VTS workstations.
· Tetra Radio Communication System: The Tetra/Radio system is used for track side and on-board wireless communication between driver and other Indore staff. Tetra/Radio system shall be a fully digital and duplex system licensed band of 380 to 400 MHZ. TETRA radio system is used as a most secure, reliable, recorded network of Operational communication. OCC can make a live announcement in Train through Tetra radio and TETRA is also used to communicate the train onboard passenger with OCC/BCC through Passenger Emergency Call (PEC) button in case of emergency.
